Pájaros de barro
La compañera número cuatro ya se ha instalado en nuestro hogar. Es una más. Todavía no me ha dado tiempo a conocerla en profundidad pero me aventuro a afirmar que, en bastantes detalles, me recuerda a mi cuando desembarqué en Madrid (aunque en otros creo que estamos en extremos opuestos). Su cara inocente con mirada de asombro es muy parecida a la que veo en aquellas viejas fotos que me saqué aquí hace unos cuantos años. Ese rostro infantil se ha ido transformando en uno adulto donde se mezclan seriedad y alegría, astucia y franqueza, desconfianza y tranquilidad, esfuerzo y cansancio, todo ello "adornado" con alguna arruga en la frente visible cuando mi malhumor me hace fruncir el ceño.
Es increíble cómo te modelan las circunstancias, tu materia prima es inmutable, única, pero con el tiempo va adquiriendo su forma, la vida sopla y el barro se va secando, se convierte bloque rígido y frágil que si se golpea con algo es posible que se astille o que se rompa algún trozo que aunque se pueda pegar ya no quedará igual.
A mis 28 ya he recogido unos cuantos pedazos.
